DOORS 4PM - kicking off 4.15PM. Smack in the middle of the school holidays so this will be fun for young and old alike. Open to everyone to attend. Koha entry.

A collective of independent music venues across Aotearoa New Zealand are hosting ROCK’EN’ROL events throughout September and October - bringing communities together and helping rangatahi (aged 18–24) enrol for the 2026 General Election. This is a nationwide, non-partisan initiative to make enrolling easy, while celebrating the arts and supporting grassroots music venues!

In Whitianga we will have live music from talented solo artist Francie Lidgard, epic rock from Paper Bullets; great tunes with DJ Rapid, hip hop from C33Y..

This is an All Ages Gig, and cos we're licensed premises - you know the drill, ya legal guardian with ya will get you in. There's gonna be a sausage sizzle and peeps onsite to help you enrol, or check your enrollment details. Why? New voter restrictions means voters must be enrolled - and have updated their address (if they’ve moved) - by midnight on Sunday 25 October!!!
