Wilson Dixon & Ben Hurley - Waitangi Weekend Comedy

TICKETS COMING SOON

We’ve got your Waitangi Weekend sorted – with a rare chance to see these two top-tier comedians doing what they do best, up close and in an intimate room built for laughs.

Wilson Dixon is a master of the slow burn. Known for his deadpan delivery, razor-sharp observations and perfectly timed silences, Dixon’s comedy rewards anyone paying attention. His humour is dry, intelligent and quietly devastating — the kind that sneaks up on you, then lands harder the longer you think about it. Time Out says “deadpan delivery of some of the funniest songs you’ll ever hear” & according to The Guardian, he “packs more laughs into the allotted time than one would think possible”

Sharing the stage is the ever-brilliant Ben Hurley — one of New Zealand’s most loved comedy voices and a venue favourite. With his warm, relatable storytelling and lightning-fast wit, Hurley brings big laughs, sharp commentary and that unmistakable ability to make a room feel instantly at ease. Whether you’ve seen him on screen or live, you already know you’re in for a hilarious, high-energy set packed with crowd-pleasing punchlines.

This will sell-out so grab your tickets ASAP!

Well known for his many years as Team Captain on the TV show '7DAYS', Paul has also been part of award winning Breakfast Radio shows for both MoreFM and The Rock. However, his crowning achievement now seems to be voicing 'Stickman' for PAK’nSAVE - something he happily admits is "the best job he's ever had". 'STICK' is your chance to see "NZ's Top Professional Comedian" live onstage, delivering maximum laughs as he talks stickability, sticky situations and, of course, stick-men.

Jenny Don't and the Spurs

$25 tickets: https://www.undertheradar.co.nz/gig/99173/Jenny-Dont--The-Spurs-NZ-Tour-2025.utr

CLEAN DiRT presents
from Portland , Oregon
the return of Jenny Dont & The Spurs to Aotearoa November / December 2025

Jenny Dont and the Spurs have spent over a decade forging their own path in music, pioneering a unique brand of high-energy Country Western that captivates fans from the traditional Western scene to the raw energy of garage rock. Their captivating stage presence, infectious enthusiasm, and extensive discography have garnered them a global following, leading to tours on continents rarely visited by country bands.

Frontwoman Jenny Dont, known for her strong-willed and independent nature, embodies the authentic outlaw spirit of Country Western music. Her songwriting, influenced by the contrasting landscapes of the Pacific Northwest and Southwestern desert, forms the bedrock of their sound. The band skillfully merges their garage-rock origins with a distinct western flair, characterized by driving tempos, gritty fuzz tones, and a high-octane, rockin western delivery that sets them apart from the herd. Their music authentically captures the outlaw spirit, with hints of gritty surf like Dick Dale, while paying homage to classic country legends like Johnny Paycheck and George Jones.

Now with Buddy Weeks on drums, the band continues to showcase their resilience and fresh energy. Bass player Kelly Halliburton and lead guitarist Christopher March, whose reverb-drenched tones echo the haunting allure of the desert night sky, round out the core. Jenny Dont and the Spurs are dedicated to crafting memorable and authentic music, pulling from a variety of genres to emphasize authenticity over conformity. As Jenny says, Weve got a lot of open road ahead of us.

Much like the rhinestones on their custom outfits, handcrafted by Jenny herself, the band shines brightly, illustrating their dedication to creating memorable and authentic music.

The Vile Maxim: No One is Coming to Save You - EP Release

$10 at the door or on Eventfinda.

You’ve had enough warnings. The world’s on fire and The Vile Maxim aren’t here to hold your hand. We’re here to kick the door in, scream in your face and baptize you in distortion.

Join us as we unleash our debut EP ‘No-One Is Coming To Save You’ recorded at Studio 11b, mastered by Dave Rhodes Productions — a soundtrack to the end days, for those who stopped waiting for heroes and decided to burn it all down themselves.

With support from good friends:
* Atlas Dawn – melodic carnage with no survivors
* The Band Dot Com – chaos in human form

This isn’t just a gig. It’s a last stand.
Bring your rage, your heartbreak, your broken friends —
No-one is coming to save you. So show up and save yourself.

LETS Freakin’ GO!!!!!!
