Hailing from the music-filled streets of Melbourne, Australia, Shaun Kirk is an award-winning blues and soul troubadour recognized for his exceptional talent as a born entertainer. His unique talent has not only earned him many accolades but also much praise from fellow artists, such as three-time Grammy Award Winner Fantastic Negrito, who has declared his show as One of the best one-man shows he’s ever seen!
Kirk's vocals exude a gritty, soulful depth that seems to transcend far beyond his years, with critics continually acclaiming him as one of the finest blues voices Australia has ever heard (Buzz Mag). Complementing his vocal artistry, Kirk's vintage guitar tones and raw grooves pay tribute to the timeless influences that have shaped his musical journey, resulting in a distinctive sound fast becoming his own.
Shaun’s musical journey has taken him to stages all over the world, where he's not only performed but consistently sold out shows, leaving audiences enthralled by his magnetic presence. Moreover, he's also had the honour of opening for household names such as blues maestro Joe Bonamassa, soul sensation Allen Stone, and the indomitable Beth Hart; further solidifying his place in the landscape of contemporary music. This remarkable journey is a testament to Kirk's unmatched talent and ability to connect with audiences across genres and generations.

TICKETS: https://www.undertheradar.co.nz/gig/93697/COFFIN.utr
CLEAN DiRT and Under The Radar present.... C.O.F.F.I.N
OZ slam-bam raw punk pub rock, these Sydney-side cretins of cool been caning the floor boards & stages since they were pre-teens. Five albums old, 19 years young as a band, it’s a mix of blunt street level Ocker humour as only Aussies can deliver, Thin Lizzy/Rose Tattoo twin guitar assault, & a singing drummer who carries the same vibe as a young Ross Knight of the Cosmic Psychos. Part of the current wave of OZ gut punch, straight hard & long, no frills, all thrills primal rock that’s carving holes through minds & planting feet in backsides globally right now. Campadres of Amyl & the Sniffers? Ah yeah, check.....
Sydney's very own hard-biting rockers; C.O.F.F.I.N are a four piece, full force, boogie rock ‘n’ roll band featuring snarling lead vocals from behind the drum kit, high voltage lead guitars, and steady rhythms that keep you stomping along.
With an infectious hip-shaking groove, a chaotic, punk live show and a commanding voice of political activism, C.O.F.F.I.N has captivated a passionate following and widespread acclaim across the globe. They’ve clocked hundreds of high velocity performances, countless headline
tours and unforgettable festival appearances, and has shared the stage with iconic and influential bands such as Amyl and the Sniffers, Tropical F*ck Storm, TSOL, Celibate Rifles, Dead Kennedys, Misfits, and the Hard-Ons to name a few.
Exploring song themes on their own Australian experience, C.O.F.F.I.N voice their juxtaposition between the serenity and beauty of the stolen lands we walk and live, as well as the harrowing social injustices and prejudice that is deeply ingrained within Australian culture. Every performance is a platform and an opportunity to voice for positive cultural change and there is never a stage too large or small to challenge and confront outdated, yet modern Australian-ideals.
C.O.F.F.I.N have recorded and released five studio albums, one live album, and three EPs, all of which have sold out globally. Their most recent LP entitled ‘Australia Stops’, was released through Goner Records (US), Bad Vibrations (UK) and Damaged Record Co. (AU) in September 2023, debuting at #2 on the Australian ARIA Charts, winning ‘Best Hard Rock/Heavy Album’ at the National Live Music Awards and an end-of-year appearance at the highly cherished Meredith Music Festival. Internationally, the band received higher global recognition and acclaim, reaching #5 in Vive Le Rock’s top 50 albums of the year of 2023 (UK), plus features in Rolling Stone (France) and Visions Magazine (Germany).
With an unquenchable thirst for adventure and discovery, C.O.F.F.I.N have set out on several international tours across the USA, Europe, UK and Asia. They’ve joined esteemed international festival bills such as Wide Awake Festival (UK), Binic Folks Blues Festival (France), Goner Fest (USA), Palp Festival (Switzerland) and SonicBlast Festival (Portugal) amongst many others
